What is Our GCP?
SOLAR HOMES:
We believe nothing stops poverty like home ownership. SEEED’s award winning solar home is located in Lonsdale, one of the most impoverished areas of Knoxville. And this home will be sold below market value to a low-income family to create equity and the opportunity for families to build generational wealth.
Our homes feature green technologies such as a solar panels, backup solar battery, micro communication grid, concrete walls, and smart home technology. These houses of the future will lower the homeowners’ carbon footprint and help downsize utility bills. Additionally, the house’s yard will have a lawn-free landscape that is both low-maintenance as well as eco-friendly!
How We Deliver.
SEEED pays young adults to learn the sustainable construction skills to build solar homes with livable wages that enable them to thrive.
SEEED is currently expanding this program and seeks to build ten more green solar homes over the next three years!
Any investment will be poured back into building safe and healthy neighborhoods for our communities!
