Healing Through Learning Together

SEEED’s newest program is our “Healing Through Learning Together” workshop series that encourages communication and healing between parents and their adolescent children. Our program runs for 8 weeks and each participating family receives a small stipend and interactive sessions from our partner organizations at Divine Wellness LLC, Shade Tree Therapy, Drums Up Guns Down, and more.

Mayor’s Social Innovation Challenge

This program was also made possible through the Mayor’s Social Innovation Challenge. This was awarded through the United Way. This initiative aims to fund three collaborative projects that promote youth mental health, trauma-informed support and community resilience.
